Support dollarisation call

The Editor, Sir:
I am endorsing Edward Seaga's recommendation on dollarisation. I think the Government should think about it very strongly. I am a Jamaican living in the US, and I cringe whenever I hear the rate of the Jamaican dollar in relation to the US currency.
It's time for the Government to do something about this. I would not like to see my country deteriorate like some others. Please, Prime Minister Golding, I have faith in you to do the right thing before it's too late. If this happens, we might have no need to borrow money from the IMF.
