I would like to use this medium as a means of expressing my gratitude to two members of the police force stationed at the Motorised Division on Windward Road.

Their names are Francis and Forbes; their ranks I cannot recall. About 9:45 p.m. on Friday, July 17, I was heading home towards Red Hills and my car began to lose power. I noticed that the temperature needle was in the red as the car stalled on a deep corner. At the same time, Francis and Forbes, who were heading in the opposite direction, asked if I was okay to which I responded with a "no".

They stopped to assist me on the very dark road. Also going in the opposite direction was a gentleman who, upon seeing that I was being assisted by the policemen, also stopped. I would like to extend my gratitude to him also; his name is Sean.
