T.G.I. Friday's

Summer has come to T.G.I. Friday's, and the staff aren't shy about letting you know that they're ready to heat things up, with over 200 drink mixes available at the bar and their annual Bartending Championship competition at the end of July.

If you've never been, be warned: T.G.I. Friday's is the original party animal - bells and whistles included.

Since November 2004, this American import has gone native and, believe me, prepare for a carnival if you go there for a birthday party.

"T.G.I. is unique because of our employees. They're young, vibrant, they work and they have fun at work," says bar supervisor Peta-Gaye Silvera. Patrons are usually "fun, eager, open-minded. We get a more party crowd. It's a good environment for kids and family; it's also good for hanging out with your girlfriends".

T.G.I. friday's Ultimate Junebug

Ingredients

Banana liqueur

Coconut rum

Midori melon liqueur

Pineapple juice

Sour mix

Lime green and lollipop-flavoured, this tropical brew is served chilled and has a thick foam on top, reminiscent of ocean tides. Preferred by women, this is the perfect drink if you want to look angelic and be naughty. With all the sweetness you may even forget it's alcoholic. Another devilish choice is their innocent-looking Strawberry Mojito. It looks like pink lemonade but, "You'll feel it later!", laughs Silvera.
