On Sunday, March 15, George Mason and Janice Brown took their love to another level when they exchanged wedding vows at the Shortwood Seventh-day Adventist Church in St Andrew.
These two lovebirds met in the Grants Pen community in 2004 after being introduced by a mutual friend.
Mason was instantly attracted not only to her physique but also to her values and the way she carried herself.
Over the next four years, their mutual admiration grew into love and they became inseparable. They grew to respect, honour and love each other unconditionally.
The officiating minister, Pastor Alton Heslop, was happy to wed this young, loving couple. The afternoon's nuptials were witnessed by family and friends.
The reception which followed at the Shortwood Teachers' College hall was all about fun, celebration and enjoyment. Guests got a treat from the couple, whose first waltz suddenly segued to Elephant Man's Dip Again with willy bounce, sweep and all the latest dance moves. This was indicative of the couple's separate tastes, likes and lifestyles which are now combined into the unity of love - as one for always.
