Help for blind

While growing up in Kingston, Jamaica, and even before honing his skills at Kingston Technical High School, Rupert G. Simms, a graduate of the Radio College of Canada's Institute of Technology, was always curious about what made things work, particularly electronic equipment.

Now, the owner of Commercial Electronics Service Center Inc in Atlanta, Georgia, Simms has taken this curiosity to another level - helping others through technology. A testament to his passion for helping others is his long-standing commitment to providing services to the Jamaica School for the Blind.

With the help of the Center for the Visually Impaired in Atlanta, Simms has donated closed-circuit TV video and text magnifiers for the needy.

Commercial Electronics Service Center Inc has been in existence since 1983.
