Today, Jamaica welcomes a new governor general and his first lady to King's House. Their family, friends and associates have journeyed from far and near to share the memorable occasion. Mrs Allen will take a break from her customary two-piece suit, but we will keep the colour a secret. She will wear her hair in an updo, and, being a lover of beautiful shoes, those too will be special. CVM Television held its big awards function and G2K also partied on Tuesday night.
