The waves lapping against the steps of Morgan's Harbour Hotel and Marina in Port Royal are enough to rock you to sleep; but not with everybody having so much fun!
That was the scene on Friday, January 30, as the seafood restaurant hosted Scotiabank's media appreciation party. The beach bash was under the stars instead of the sun, so the only thing missing was the heat. But there was enough of that generated on the dance floor from the partying members of the noble profession.
Of course, the décor was picture-perfect, white sand and trees, more like Lime Cay than a hotel. BNS staff from branches outside of the Corporate Area also joined in the festivities making for an islandwide affair. Wasn't long before they were moving and grooving to the music. The comedic antics of Ity and Fancy Cat brought out the dancers in some reserved members, but most didn't need an invitation
Tasty fried fish
Now, this being Port Royal, there had to be at least one sure thing on the menu, fish! And the staff duly delivered some tasty fried fish accompanied by its partners in crime, festivals, and other food delights to 'mek belly buss'!
Guests out included Brian Schmidt, Peter Lloyd, Devon and Kathy-Ann Yetman, Danny Clarke, Hertha Beckmann, Leighton and Yolande Levy, Clarence Williams, Gillian Haughton, Cecil Thoms, Ed Khoury and Elon Parkinson.
