  • #5 - Famous paintings

Art is a form of expression. Only a few have the talent and technical ability to design pieces that are appealing to the eye. Century upon century, we've heard and seen a few artistic pieces that inspired many to create beautiful art.

'The Mona Lisa' - Arguably the most famous painting in the world, the 16th-century portrait was done by Leonardo Da Vinci.

'The Last Supper' - The famous 15th-century mural by Leonardo da Vinci depicted 'The Last Supper' from the final days of Jesus. In how many homes have you not seen a replica?

'Madonna and Child' - A masterpiece done by Italian Renaissance artist, Duccio di Buoninsegna, in the year 1300, depicts Mary, mother of Jesus, holding the Holy Child. It was reported that in November 2004, the painting was purchased by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City for more than US$45 million!

'The Starry Night' -Van Gogh painted 'The Starry Night' in June 1889. The painting depicts the view outside his sanatorium room window at night.

'The Last Judgement' - Michelangelo took eight years (1534-1541) to create this mural on the altar wall of the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City.

  • #4 - Unforgettable ads

Geico - Whether the squirrel originals or the caveman editions, if those ads didn't help them sell insurance, nothing will.

7-UP - Here's a classic, "Hey, make 7-UP yours!" Although that line may not have made 7-Up prominent in the soda industry, it surely made a positive impact on Orlando Jones' career as he appeared in several movies later in life.

Budweiser - 'Waazzuup!' In 2000, Superbowl XXXIV was the season when everyone caught on to the Budweiser's way of 'hailing' a friend. One wonders if they knew it would change the way how much of the world would introduce itself.

Dell - "Dude, I'm getting a Dell!" It's interesting how such a simple statement, with a little enthusiasm, was able to install Dell as a household name.

  • #3 - Disastrous crashes:

Train - June 6, 1981, The driver of a train carrying nearly 600 passengers in Mansi, India, braked to avoid hitting a cow, causing the train to plunge off a bridge into the Baghmati River. Approximately 268 passengers were reported killed, but at least 300 more were missing.

Ship - The Wilhelm Gustloff was a German passenger ship that had its final voyage during Operation Hannibal in January 1945. The ship was hit by three torpedoes and sank in less than 45 minutes, taking an estimated 9,400 people to their grave.

Plane - Unfortunately, the award goes to the tragic 9/11 terrorist hijacking of flights (Boeing 767-223ER, Boeing B-767-222, Boeing B-757-223 and Boeing B-757-222). The fatality count was almost 3,000.

  • #2 - Scenic areas you have to travel through to get to the north coast in Jamaica:

Bog Walk gorge - Aside from Flat Bridge, the gorge drive is a gorgeous, tortuous journey.

Fern Gully - With an estimated three miles in length with scores of species of ferns, this popular attraction is a great welcome to Ocho Rios its several historical and entertaining sites.

  • #1 thing everyone should take every year - A vacation

Everyone needs a vacation once in a while. Burnouts are no joke and, during these times, anything, and almost everything, becomes stressful.
