LETTER OF THE DAY - Is there a 'Rump Parliament' at Gordon House?
The Editor, Sir: Roderick Rainford's reasons for accepting the value of the Vale Royal summitry (Letter of the Day, June 14) lead to the belief that there is a Rump Parliament at Gordon House.

Thank you, four angels of MoBay

The Editor, Sir: Brand Jamaica, as a culture of 'No Problem', music, weed, sex and freedom to the thrill seekers is a lie!I have a dream for Brand Jamaica to be promoted as 'Blessed Land', filled with people who welcome our visitors with love and care.

Medical fundfor the needy

The Editor, Sir: Last night while watching the news on television, I saw a child stricken with a medical condition, which requires her to get radiation treatment.

Nation's spiritual needs justify Patois Bible

The Editor, Sir: Let me attempt to lighten the darkness a bit in response to the Letter of the Day on Thursday, June 19, by Joan Davis in which she scoffs at the idea of a Patois Bible, thinking that it is a waste of good money that could be spent much better in other areas considering that English is our basic language.

Review the mix in classes

The Editor, Sir: I agree with the writer of the letter 'Parity needed re school places', stating that children should not be screened when being selected for high school after the GSAT.

Good cop

I felt obligated as a citizen to write commending the policeman who was featured on the front page of Wednesday's Gleaner (June 18).
