Happy Birthday, USA!
New home, new address, but same good time on America's greatest day. The United States embassy hosted the country's 4th of July celebration on Wednesday evening. Guests were shuttled to the venue after parking on the lawns of Jamaica College.

Heavenly dining experience

WESTERN BUREAU: The aroma that lifted itself from the wine glass had a zest of lime, hints of peach, tangy and tart - the German Riesling, amazingly one of the most versatile, was about ready to wreak havoc with the senses. Standing tall, boasting 50 years of vintage....

Well done, fellas!

Their work's done; they can now put their feet up and look back at what they've helped to create. Peter Bunting and Mark Golding, the 'B' and 'G' in DB&G left the entity after seeing it become a member of the Scotia Group. Both were lauded for their excellent service...

The partying continues

Oh, my daahlings, what a fabulous week for partying! It's been raining parties like confetti and then some all week and will continue so way into the weekend. To begin with, luvlies, it's the age of Cancerians and dovecakes, they are celebrating in earnest and then some!
