Tribute to DSP BarRett-Latchman - I feel your pain
published: Thursday | May 17, 2007

The Editor, Sir:

My heart goes out to DSP Dorrett Barrett-Latchman and to anyone who has experienced a violent crime of this type, or any crime. I have been a victim of crimes before, and, no matter what the crime, you always feel so violated.

I hope she reaches out to other people and does not try to go it alone even though I can see by her pictures she is a very strong and self-sufficient person. Talking to trusted friends, family and/or counsellor(s) will help her heal that much sooner.

Take care, Dorrett, my thoughts and prayers will be with you always.

I am, etc.,

SUSIE
