published: Thursday | May 17, 2007

Governor-General Professor Kenneth Hall will this morning meet with about 75 young persons, including students, at Grand Lido Braco in Trelawny.

This breakfast meeting is part of the Governor-General's mission to focus on excellence among the country's youth.

As part of this initiative, Professor Hall has also modified the existing Governor-General's Achievement Awards (GGAA) Scheme to include a Youth Award for Excellence segment.

This aspect of the programme will recognise annually, the achievements of 14 young persons who exemplify excellence in various areas of activity.
