Senate wants 10-year rescue plan for banana industry
The Senate on Friday passed a resolution calling for a 10-year strategic development plan for the banana industry, faced with local production challenges as well as a more demanding international trading environment.

Jamaica Stock Exchange suspends Seprod trading

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) announced yesterday that it will be suspending trading in the shares of Seprod Group Ltd., effective Monday, May 14.
