Jamaica Stock Exchange suspends Seprod trading
published: Saturday | May 12, 2007

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) announced yesterday that it will be suspending trading in the shares of Seprod Group Ltd., effective Monday, May 14.

The JSE said this was because of the company's non-compliance with the JSE Rule 407 which speaks to the submission of quarterly financial statements within 45 days of the end of a company's financial period.

Marlene Street Forrest, general manager of the JSE, said that "a company with financial statements which are 45 days overdue shall have trading in their shares suspended until the reports are submitted to the exchange".
