THE EDITOR, Sir: I WAS sorry to read both the content and the tone of The Gleaner's article on Sunday 'Hope for Hanging'. I regret the content because I believe that for the State to deliberately kill people will increase the spiral of violence...
Juror unpaid after five years
THE EDITOR, Sir: I WAS drafted to serve as a juror for three weeks (March 24 - April 14, 2000) at the Morant Bay Circuit Court in St. Thomas. I was empanelled to serve on a rape and murder case.
Appalling situation
THE EDITOR, Sir: THE RECENT letters to the editor from the Honourable Roy Barrett, Custos of Trelawny, and the response from Dr. Holness (September 26 and September 30, respectively) must be appalling to all who read them.
