CONGRATULATIONS TO Jimmy Cliff on being recognised with the Order of Merit.

As a youth growing up in the '70s Jamaica, Jimmy was a source of inspiration and a role model with his personal style of reggae lyrics. His movie,"The Harder They Come" which I consider to be the classic of classics is a revered part of my collection which continues to connect me to that era and a brilliant biography for my foreign-born children.

Many rivers have been crossed, Jimmy. Carry on
