Lara's mom dies at 69
PORT OF SPAIN - Pearl Lara, mother of world batting recorder holder Brian Lara, died yesterday, a relative said. Mrs Lara, 69, died at the home of another son, Lyndon. A diabetic, she suffered a stroke last October from which she never recovered.
