Congratulations are definitely in order and extended to the charmingly lovely Sharon McConnell Feanny on her receiving the 2009 Award for Excellence, by the Environmental Health Foundation, for her "outstanding contribution for her promotion of wellness and healthy lifestyles in Jamaica". Many congrats my dear and keep on keeping on!
Speaking of the fabulous, belated birthday greeting to: the lovely Tara Playfair-Scott, who celebrated in fine style on May 9; attorney Seyon Hanson, who celebrated on May 12; and Phyllis Smith of NCB Half Moon, Rose Hall, who celebrated her special day on the May 14. Doyenne of haute style, the tres elegant Dawn Chambers Henry, celebrated her birthday on Monday of this week.
Sharon Tulloch celebrated on Tuesday the 19th. Cheers to the absolutely stunning Sheila Benjamin McNeil, who observed hers on Wednesday, a day she shares with the lovely Renée Menzies-McCallum and Commander George Overton (both from the Guardsman group); as well as Thyra Heaven; former dancer/choreographer Bertie Rose; and journalists John Maxwell, Franklyn McKnight and Lloyd B. Smith of the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce.
Today, advertising icon and former Jamaica Tourist Board director, Adrian Robinson, observes his birthday. Public relations expert, Carmen Patterson will blow out her candles tomorrow, along with radio personality Elva Ruddock, and the celebrations are all set to get under way later this evening at Escape 24/7 on Knutsford Boulevard, under the theme 'Jeans and White', with friends of the comedienne promising to party into Saturday morning!
Ellington
Johnny Hamilton will celebrate on Sunday, the 24th, and come Monday, the 25th, Diane Golding Frankson will take birthday honours, as will the fab Debra Lannigan! The next day, however, it will be all about her brother, hotelier Kevin Levee, as he and his daughter Spencer Levee, who share the same birthday, will be making it a family occasion! Then, come next Thursday, fresh from the triumph of his Tivoli Gardens football club, former prime minister Edward Seaga and his son, Christopher Seaga, will both be celebrating their birthday, so will former finance minister Dr Omar Davies and popular broadcaster Fae Ellington.
Champagne toasts all around!
