Windalco thrash Speg 'A'

Francis ... scored 25 goals for Windalco
Windalco registered their second victory in the Jamaica Netball Association (JNA) Berger Paints Super League competition with an easy 77-38 win over newcomers Speg 'A' on Saturday at the Leila Robinson Courts.
Petal Smith led the rout for Windalco with 40 goals from 49 attempts, as her team romped to a 36-13 lead at half-time.
The Winston Nevers-coached Windalco then outscored Speg 'A' 20-14 in the third quarter, as they extended their advantage to 56-27 at the end for the period.
Good support
Smith received good support from Viola Francis, with 25 goals from 32 tries and Anna-Kaye Griffths, who netted 12 goals from 14 attempts, as Windalco cruised to an easy victory.
National Under-16 representative, Marvadeen Anderson, scored 29 goals from 41 attempts and Denean Taylor got six goals from 13 for Speg 'A', who were suffering their second defeat of the season.
In the day's other games, former champions Tivoli Gardens 'A' thrashed sister team Tivoli Gardens 'B' 58-26 to record their second win of the season. Neressa Gibbs led the scoring for Tivoli Gardens 'A' with 47 goals from 54 attempts and received good support from Nicole Peart, with 11 goals from 13 tries.
Patricia Chambers, with 16 goals from 31 attempts and Nekeisha Cohen, with 10 from 14, were the leading scorers for Tivoli 'B'.
Game-high
Arnett Gardens, led by a game-high 29 goals from 35 attempts from national representative Sabrina Spence, defeated Hampshire 'A' 40-36.
Spence got good support from Shelly-Ann Williams, who sank 11 from 17. Mishka Banfield, with 25 from 33 and Shaunalee Mais, who scored nine of 12, led Hampshire 'A'.
In the Supreme Ventures Divisional 'A' League, Ebony Strikes defeated Molynes United 'B' 43-36. Lorraine Lewis got 32 goals from 46 tries and Daunette Lumsden hit 11 from 18 for Ebony Strikers. Shelly-Ann Whitter, with 25 from 38 attempts, scored most goals for Molynes United.
Ravens 'A' and Skibo 'A' played to an exciting 40-40 tie. Christina Morgan sank 27 goals from 28 tries and Phyllis Thompson nailed 13 from 17 for Ravens 'A'. Janice Rennalls, with 14 from 22 attempts, Julie-Ann Ewart, 14 from 22 tries and Tiona Murray, with 12 from 21, led the scoring for Skibo 'A'.
