LETTER OF THE DAY: In defence of Air J 'world class carrier'
'The Editor, Sir: This letter is in response to the gentleman that has vowed to never fly Air Jamaica again.
Jamaica, no problem?
The Editor, Sir: Homophobes and religious fanatics were vindicated (we told you so) and empowered following the storm in a teacup unleashed by Mr Golding's comment "that gays are not welcome in my cabinet".
Saved by a man with a gun
The Editor, Sir: I would like to thank the man who if he didn't save my life, surely saved my dignity. My car was in the garage and I was waiting for a route taxi to get to Half-Way Tree.
Mugabe must be forced out
The Editor, Sir: I am besides myself with the presbyopic nature of the African leaders of the 52 African countries. When will buffoonery not be the accepted norm of these African leaders, and people like Morgan Tsvangirai stand up and be willing to accept what regular Zimbabweans now endure.
Peace treaty a smart move
The Editor, Sir: Much is being said about the peace treaty signed by several area/corner leaders in August Town a few days ago.
Searching for Owen James
My name is Barrington Douglas (aka Pataudi), and I have been trying to get in touch with a friend of mine forw many years with no luck, and hope that this medium will be successful.
Support Air J
This is in defence of Air Jamaica. Sure it is not a perfect airline except for its impeccable safety record. Only a few airlines in the world can claim that. I love my Air Jamaica. It has won awards.
