SIGNIFICANT FEATURE

A Trough across Jamaica and the central Caribbean. The Trough is expected to remain across the region for the next two days. A new Tropical Wave is expected to move in the vicinity of the island on Tuesday. Windy conditions will persists across sections of the island, especially southern
parishes due to the presence of the Low Level Jet Stream.

This morning is mainly sunny. This afternoon expect isolated showers and thunderstorms across sections of western parishes while windy along southern areas. Tonight will be fair. Maximum temperature expected for Kingston today... 33 degrees Celsius while for Montego Bay, 34 degrees Celsius.


3-DAY FORECAST (starting tomorrow):
Tuesday will be mostly cloudy in the morning with showers across sections of eastern parishes with widely scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms across most parishes.

Wednesday will be mainly fair morning. Windy with isolated afternoon showers across hilly inland areas of central and western parishes.

Thursday will be partly cloudy in the morning across eastern parishes while windy with showers and isolated thunderstorms across central and western parishes.
