Western Bureau:
Former national champions Reno FC took over sole leadership of the 2009-10 Captain's Bakery and Grill Western Super Football League on Sunday, when they scored a big 4-0 win over struggling Prosper FC to move three points clear atop the standings in the 12-team competition.
The Reno team, which entered the game as joint leaders with Seba United on 16 points each, registered their sixth win from seven starts, courtesy of two goals from skipper Fabian 'Lexus' Blake, and one each from Tremaine Perry and Martin Williams.

Seba United, which should have played Montpelier FC, saw no action as their opponents reportedly failed to show for a meeting with the competition's disciplinary committee and have since been sidelined pending the outcome of that meeting.
"We were ready for the game but we learnt that it was postponed for a date to be announced," said Kareen Kelly, administrator of the Seba United team. "Whenever the game is rescheduled, we will be ready."
Former champions Granville FC, which went into their game sitting in mid-table on six points, increased their points tally to nine with a big 3-0 win against Petersfield FC. Striker Odane Snow was the undisputed star for the Granville team, scoring all three goals.
"We are a little bit off the pace at this time, so our mission at this time is to win as many games as possible," said Snow. "It is a very tough competition, so we cannot allow ourselves to fall too far behind the teams that are ahead of us."
In a clash between former national champions, Violet Kickers embar-rassed the struggling Wadadah FC, spanking them 4-0 in a one-sided affair at Jarrett Park. Tajay Brissette did the major damage for the Violet Kickers team, scoring three of the four goals.
In another high-profile game, the floundering Bamboo FC, which led the standings after the first four rounds of matches, dropped another two points when they were held to a 1-1 draw by newcomers Catherine Hall FC.
The game between Exidus FC and Frome FC was not played.
After seven rounds of matches, the current standings reads as follows: Reno FC 19, Seba United 16, Frome FC 14, Bamboo FC 14, Catherine Hall FC 9, Granville FC 9, Violet Kickers 7, Exidus 6, Montpelier 5, Petersfield 4, Wadadah 3 and Prosper FC 1.
