Prime Minister Bruce Golding yesterday met with Senator Dr Lenny Saith, who has been performing the duties of prime minister of Trinidad, at the
Golding arrived in Trinidad yesterday with a high-level delegation from Jamaica to discuss matters related to both Air Jamaica and Caribbean Airlines.
Saith was joined in the talks by Finance Minister Karen Nunez Tesheira and Minister of Trade and Industry Mariano Brown.
Golding left Trinidad imme-diately after the meeting.
BBC remembers Pryce
The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has joined in paying tribute to deceased journalist Michael Pryce.
"During his time here at BBC Caribbean and at the wider BBC World Service, Michael was always an energetic and enthusiastic journalist," said Debbie Ransome, head of BBC Caribbean Service. "Our condolences from the team here at Bush House to all close to him in Jamaica."
The Press Association of Jamaica has organised a special memorial event for Pryce. The event, 'A Tribute to Michael', will be held Saturday at PAJ headquarters, 5 East Avenue, Kingston 8. Start time is 7 p.m.
Pryce died in England on Monday after a battle with cancer. He was 48.
