This is the season to add a little edge to your make-up with coloured liners and bold colours for your eyes, while keeping the lips subtle with natural toned glosses.

Make-up artist, Jeneva Whorms of Urban Beauty, notes that steel grey, metallic blue, and purple shadows are super hot for the season. Bold - colour liners and mascara are also a must-have. She notes that the beautiful thing about the season's look is that, when you do your make-up for day, it can be transferred to night by going just a little heavier.

Also, for the season you can go for a vivid look on the lips, withscarlet (a shade of red) lipstick. But Whorms cautions that not everyone can pull off scarlet lips. So you should consult a professional, if in doubt.

And most importantly, if you go bold with the lips, use lighter colours on the eyes and vice versa. Another key tip is to ensure that when you blend your colours, let them flow, eliminating any line demarcation.

Body glow is also big this season and is often worn by celebrities such as Beyoncé. So, for your night out on the town, body glow will give you that lovely shimmering look. Tinted moisturisers are also a big hit, but don't forget your bronzer for that natural glow.

Create your own blends with these tips and you will be stepping out in style.
