Early childhood educator Colleen Thompson created a Powerpoint presentation which takes parents on a journey of building communication links between them and their children. The materials she said, were necessary to achieve this are prayer, praise, patience and perseverance. Follow her on that journey.

Are you able to put up with annoyance without becoming angry?

Can you endure trouble without complaining?

It's like walking in sand.

You will make it but it takes patience.

Perseverance

Can you keep on doing something even though it is difficult?

That's what parenting requires.

Food for Thought

The traits today's children need to guide a future society, do not come by accident, but through diligent godly parenting.

Instruct your children in God's way.

Discipline them towards godliness and love them unconditionally.
