Time to deal with road hogs

It seems once you have been spotted as a lone female driver, you instantly become the target of 'bad driving'.
My latest bitter experience involves that of another motorist - who in my estimation is a cross between a maniac and a beast - who tried to run me off the road intentionally. I was headed towards Spanish Town one Friday afternoon several weeks ago and was stuck in a line of traffic. Soon after I had crossed over the stop light after leaving the Greendale area and was approaching the Rio Cobre bridge, the road animal driving a grey Toyota Corolla, charged out of another lane of traffic, which was coming from the Sligoville area.
The impatient motorist then proceeded to overtake by the unbroken white line, crept up alongside my vehicle for me to squeeze him in. Now bear in mind that this is Friday afternoon, during peak hour, and the streets are filled with pedestrians who are seemingly oblivious to the fact that cars are on the road and continue to walk in the road just the same. While this person is trying to bully me to get in the line, he was also putting me in danger by forcing me over towards the pedestrians to the left of my car.
I decided that I was not going to yield, but he continued to the point where he forced his vehicle on to mine, scraped my right hand wing mirror in the process as well as part of my bumper, and eventually caused me to run into the rails of the bridge. I was just a few feet away from plunging into the river.
I was most upset about his cruel and vicious act and began looking around for something in my vehicle to damage him. I was hell-bent on pursuing him to his destination and ramming his vehicle in. I eventually ended up at the police station where I lodged a formal complain against the terrorist and I am making every effort to follow up this unpleasant incident.
Fed up
I am most upset and fed up with the indiscipline and nasty driving that is present on our roads every day. Often, it is to intimidate women, albeit there are some women who also behave as nastily as some of the men. There is just too much to contend with and the relevant authorities need to address this 'normal' way of life now and revoke those licences, such as that of the maniac who tried to harm me.
They are unfit to be driving so much as a toy truck and when you visit other places in the world it makes you realise that we have a nation of sick and insensitive people.
I am, etc.,
