"Family is very important to me. They've inspired a lot of my goals and dreams. My son William is the joy of my life and inspires me to go out for new experiences. Also my mother, she was a jewellery catalogue model in her younger years so you can say that modelling is gene deep," chuckles 28-year-old bank teller Yolande Smith.

The 5'6" beauty, who enjoys horseback riding, playing dominoes and dancing, thinks she stands a good shot at winning the inaugural CMS Plus TV competition.

"I believe that you don't have to be slim to be on the cover of a magazine or on the runway and I want to prove that to the world. I am the perfect contender for this competition because I'm genuinely interested in fashion and representing full-figured women, plus I am a fast learner and I have a great personality."

"I've always been interested in fashion and modelling and I think CMS is the perfect vehicle to get my foot in the door," says business management student Andrena Smith.

The bubbly full-figured contestant says her penchant for fashion and her enthusiasm will hopefully land her in the top spot.

"I think I have what it takes to win this competition. I'm fashionable, I'm energetic and I'm ready to work. I can see myself representing for full-figured brands such as Lane Bryant."

In her leisure time, Smith enjoys dancing and listening to music.
