Intcomex Jamaica will launch a brand new technology event in November. Over the last nine years, Intcomex Jamaica has built a solid distribution infrastructure and established a comprehensive and efficient islandwide network throughout Jamaica.

"This will be a show to be remembered long after it has ended," said Dorothy Hanson, marketing manager of Intcomex Jamaica. "We want to expose the available and upcoming technology to not only our resellers, but to every Jamaican consumer."

Techtronics 2009, which will be held on November 14 and 15 at the National Arena from 10 a.m.-8 p.m., will feature not only local wholesalers and retailers, but will also highlight some of the leading multinational manufacturing corporations and suppliers of technology products.

Representatives such as Microsoft, Intel, Hewlett-Packard, Linksys, Norton, Symantec and Kingston and more will display current and upcoming products and host special seminars and training sessions.

"It's going to be one of a kind," said Marcia McDonnough, the event organiser. "We will not only be showcasing the regular computer products and electronics popularly seen at these types of events, but will also focus on green technology, emerging technology as well as exposing some cutting edge technology that has never been seen in Jamaica."

The Gleaner Company has partnered with the organisers as the official newspaper of Techtronics 2009 and will work with the team to help to ensure the success of this inaugural event.

The organisers are currently seeking other corporate partnerships and invite cutting-edge companies trading in related products to contact them.
