The bodies of two teenage brothers were fished from a pond at the Jamaica Broilers Aquaculture facility in Toll Gate, Clarendon, yesterday afternoon.
According to reports, the boys, 13-year-old Romain Richards and 14-year-old Dwight Richards, had gone to the facility with their stepfather, Ray Peters, on Sunday, when they went missing. Peters is employed as a live-haul contractor with that facility.
Their bodies were subsequently found late yesterday morning, floating in the pond.
The Clarendon police said it does not suspect foul play at this time.
The Jamaica Broilers Group said yesterday that it empathises with the boys' family and wishes them comfort during their grief.
Excelsior student killed days before start of school
A 16-year-old student was murdered two days before she was to take her place in grade 11 at Excelsior High School
Nash Campbell, from Foster Lane, Kingston, was shot dead by unknown assailants at the intersection of Fleet and Port Royal streets, downtown Kingston, Sunday night.
Campbell became the second student of the school to be killed in a violent attack since the start of the year.
In February, a student who was also to have moved on to grade 11, was killed by a stray bullet which went through her heart.
