Red Stripe has created the latest in Jamaican beer innovation, aptly called Red Stripe BOLD Premium Lager Beer. The new variant of an old favourite was launched on Friday, August 7 at Daydreams, one of the parties on the Red Stripe Dream Weekend at the Long Bay Beach Park in Negril, Westmoreland.

As Red Stripe continues to deliver the highest quality refreshment, flavour and smoothness to its loyal consumers, there are others who want to be a part of the Red Stripe family but have slightly different needs. Red Stripe BOLD is targeting younger adults who are looking for a beer that is more in tune with their unique lifestyle and taste.

Refreshing energy

This new member of the Red Stripe family captures the vibrant, natural and refreshing energy of younger Jamaicans with its sharper and more audacious flavour that delivers a crisp refreshing taste.

According to Brand Manager Safia Cooper, the original Red Stripe beer will always be the centre of every drinking occasion where customers are looking to experience that true Jamaican irie vibe with great friends. It will be sold in bars, shops, restaurants, supermarkets, and wholesales island-wide.

Red Stripe BOLD still stands true to the original Red Stripe quality ingredients but is brewed with even more hops and, more importantly, brewed using a special double fermentation process that delivers a beer that the first brewers of Red Stripe would be proud of.

Exceptional quality

"Red Stripe BOLD is everything you love about the original and more. It uses the same exceptional quality ingredients but it goes a bit further. One of the key distinctive ingredient of beer, hops, is added twice in the making of the new product. This delivers intense refreshment and a crisp, bold flavour. But it doesn't end there, as a special double fermentation process, used by only a select number of international beers, is then used to deliver an unmatched smoothness," Cooper disclosed.

The dark slender long necked bottle delivers 275ml of premium golden-brown liquid. With the perfect serve at a temperature of - three degrees centigrade, Red Stripe Bold will be sold 20 per cent more expensive than Red Stripe.

Red Stripe Bold is the first beverage of its kind on the market. It was created to deliver a new beer experience for an ever-changing consumer group. This move is in response to new global trends in the alcoholic beverage market.
