In an effort to build the Christian faith of women, the Victorious and Complete Women's Ministry of the Church on the Rock will be directing its second annual conference to refocusing these individuals' minds by encouraging them to look to the Lord.

The conference, which will take place at Church on the Rock in Kingston 8, will be based on the theme 'We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us ... OH YES, WE CAN'!

According to Melodie Williams, member of the women's group, the conference is designed to build all aspect of women's lives.

She said in light of the difficulties in recent times, the conference is seeking to get women to focus on the Lord, who can be their tower of strength.

"Some persons will want to give up but we want to encourage them to realise that the Lord himself will enable them to meet every challenges and face all difficulties as He is the one who will strengthen and empower them," Williams said.

The speakers of the conference will include Pastor Mary Wildish-Reece and Dr Leleith Tomlinson.

The sessions will be free and are scheduled for Friday, August 28 at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, August 29 at 9 am and 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, 30 at 8:30 a.m.
