At 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, shouts of jubilation could be heard anywhere in the vicinity of St Richard's Primary School in St Andrew, signalling a welcome transition for students of the Red Hills Road institution.

The school grabbed two major scholarships, one of which was scooped up by the top GSAT boy for primary schools, Dominic Saunders. The ceremony climaxed with a grand ball in the evening.

(1) St Richard's Primary's top GSAT girl and Sagicor scholarship recipient, Gabrielle Bethune, is double-teamed with smooches by doting parents, Merrick and Alleen Bethune.

You're a winner - Khamali Innswood (second left in photo) is the lucky winner of a Sangster's Book Stores gift certificate. (3) Courtney Stewart is caught with the apple of his eye, daughter Chelsea Stewart, who will don her Immaculate Conception High whites next term.

(4) Talk about coming out with your 'backative'. Dominic Saunders, the top all-primary school GSAT boy and Marcus Garvey Scholarship recipient, has lots of family support, including his mother, brother uncle, aunts and grandma.
