Feeling for a new hue for that 'do? Well, check out these winning streaks that will have people betting on you!

Cut and go through

Step into style this summer and reinvent yourself as you streak your way to banging blowouts. The way you cut your hair may also enhance your wave of colour.

Determine your winning streak

You may settle for highlights or bold bands of colour. Highlights are done with fewer strands while the bold bands cover the entire hair, leaving an inkling of your original colour.

If you bleach most of the hair as was done with Roxanne, you may leave it as is. Having a darker skin tone such as hers, you may want a look that will give a more noticeable effect. Also, this low-maintenance look does not require as many touch-ups.

Select a colour to complement your skin tone

To enhance dark skin tones, a lighter shade is best. With light skin tones, medium-brown or dark streaks will be more visible. However, too dark a colour on a pale-skin individual will be too drastic.

After your hair is streaked, you may consider adding some colour. Reds may be used on any skin tone but dark red was suitable for Stephanie's complexion. This shade is subtle yet gives a fun and flirty look for the streets.
