Her tertiary level education was completed in Ontario, Canada where she has lived for the past six years. She describes herself as a laid-back individual whose life's ambition is to leave an impression on the world by making a difference in the life of at least one person.

Alicia says one of her goals is to live in a remote part of the world and bring a message of hope and faith to persons who most need it. She is a great admirer of Nelson Mandela, who she describes as a beacon of hope and inspiration.

Her personal statement is a quote from the book Night, written by Elie Wiesel: It is not hatred that kills people, it is the indifference.

Jhennell Eastman holds a bachelor of arts degree in business administration with a major in marketing and a minor in international business from the University of Technology. She also gained an associate degree in business studies from the same university.

She is an avid reader who loves to socialise, travel and be outdoors, and is aspiring to be one of the most sought after corporate public relations practitioners. Her desire is to put her reading to good use either by writing novels or copywriting for commercials.

She admires Bono of U2 as she finds him an interesting person and says she would like to meet him and hear about his life experiences in the many different countries he has visited.

As a spokesperson for the French Connection entity, her proudest moment came when she donated proceeds from one of their parties to God's Little Angels Early Childhood Development Centre.

Her personal wish is to develop into a positive role model for the next generation and live life to the fullest.

Amita was born in Moscow, Russia to a Jamaican father and a Guyanese mother who both met while they were attending university and got married. Amita has graced the pageant stage before and was awarded the titles of 'Most Congenial' and 'Most Disciplined' at the Miss Teen Jamaica and was also crowned second runner-up.

Her aim is to be the best she can be and she views each day as a new challenge ready to be conquered. She wants to use the skills she has acquired from the pageant to further develop herself and others she meets along the way. Her motto is that we are masters of our own destiny.

Her advice to young people is "just be yourself" - and that message is coming from her personal experiences of living in different cultures and interacting with individuals of other cultures who expect persons to all be the same. In Amita's eyes, she has learnt that sameness makes the world boring.
