Guardian Life manager to head customer service body

Christine Morgan, customer service manager at Guardian Life Limited, has been elected president of the Jamaica Customer Service Association (JaCSA).

Also elected during the recent seventh annual general meeting of the association were vice-presidents Marguerite Sequira Lee of Jamaica Money Market Brokers; Donnetta Russell of the National Housing Trust (NHT); and Clive Williams of Jamaica Yellow Pages.

Board members

Elected to the board were Richard Rowe of the Consumer Affairs Commission - immediate past-president; Pamela Richards-Green, Toyota Jamaica Ltd; and Reynu Deans, consultant. Continuing on the board of the association is founder and chairman Ilsa duVerney, along with founding members Granville Newell of the Ministry of Information; Judith Dillon, GraceKennedy Remittance Services; Lorna McDonald, CARI-CODE; as well as Lanie Oakley Williams, NHT; Edna Walker, Crazy Jim; Pauline Bryan and Rosalee Deane of Capital & Credit Financial Services.

The association aims to facilitate the raising of service standards nationally and will celebrate National Customer Service Week during the first week of October.
