With witches' hats on and wands checked, Pan Caribbean hosted the premiere of the movie, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, at Carib Cinema on Tuesday.
Patrons came out to be a part of the magic and to see on what new adventure Harry Potter would transport them, as well as to support Pan Caribbean's charity drive.
Tara Nunes, vice-president of sales and investment at Pan Caribbean, said proceeds from the movie will be in aid of the Saint Simon Basic School in Arnett Gardens.
Uplift and give back
"Tonight's premiere gives us a chance to uplift and give back to one of the communities in which we operate," said Nunes.
Before journeying to Hogwarts, patrons had a chance to enjoy wine, courtesy of 1876 Wines; chatter with good company and get pepped up for the magical journey. By 8:30 p.m. it was time to hop onto the broomstick and take a ride into the world of witches, wizards and dark forces.
