Reggae Boyz regain top spot

Jamaica have leapfrogged Trinidad & Tobago again for the top spot in the Caribbean Football Union rankings (CFU) released yesterday but Grenada snatched the spotlight by grabbing their highest-ever position in the FIFA World rankings.
The Reggae Boyz, the reigning Caribbean champions, jumped 11 spots in the July FIFA World Rankings to regain the top ranking they surrendered last month to Trinidad & Tobago.
T&T, meanwhile, remained stagnant at 72nd in the World and returned to the No. 2 position in the CFU rankings after just a one-month reign at the summit.
While Grenada remained stationed in fourth spot in the CFU rankings, they have much to celebrate as they leapt 14 spots to achieve their best-ever FIFA World ranking at 88th.
At the start of the year, the Spice Boyz were ranked 123rd in the world but have made sensational gains since.
