Good job, CAC

It is not often that good things get mentioned in the media. I am using this opportunity to publicly applaud the Consumer Affairs Commission (CAC) for its speedy and professional handling of a matter involving my purchase of a faulty motor car from one of the most prestigious car companies within this country. Shortly after purchasing the brand-new vehicle it started showing signs of serious faults. I tried returning to vehicle, to the vendor but met with strong resistance.

Professional help

I sought professional help and was recommended to the CAC. I called with trepidation because I feared the matter would not be given the prompt attention it deserved. I was pleasantly surprised at the response and level of attentiveness which was directed towards this case. In a very short time, the CAC was able to convince the vendor that it was in breach of the Consumer Protection Act and it ordered my money returned to me in full. To cut a long story short, I received the purchase price in full and the vehicle was returned to the vendors.

Kudos to the CAC for prompt action and diligent efforts.
