Man charged in stolen car-parts find

Flying Squad detectives have laid criminal charges against a St Catherine man in connection with more than $100 million in stolen car parts found at a premises along Church Hill Avenue, St Andrew.

The man charged has been identified by the police as Donovan Cole of Old Harbour, St Catherine.

Investigators say that while Cole is charged with unlawful possession of property, intensive investigations to uncover other persons connected with the find are ongoing.

During the recovery, 12 men were taken into custody.

Head of the Flying Squad, Superintendent Cornwall 'Bigga' Ford, has indicated that persons from all over the island have been turning up to identify stolen parts.
