While most Americans anxiously awaited the results of yesterday's election, Jamaicans who were at the United States Embassy here say they would have voted for Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama, if they had the opportunity.
The Jamaicans, most of whom were either in the scorching sun waiting to enter the embassy, or had just finished their interviews, say Obama is the hope for the United States and the Caribbean.
