WESTERN BUREAU:

Cornwall Bar Association president, Clayton Morgan, and his wife Doris opened up their Kempshot, St James, home recently, hosting delegates attending the Commonwealth Lawyers Association (CLA) conference at a 'Meet the People Party'.

The Meet the People Programme was made popular by the Jamaica Tourist Board more than 30 years ago. Borrowing from the programme, the local steering committee of the CLA tagged their outing 'Dine Around', and did they!

The Morgans went with authentic Jamaican grater cakes, coconut drops and sugar cane on sticks, so that those visiting from overseas could have an insight of the island's rich culinary offerings. With the fantastic view the location offered, the only thing the couple had to do to complement an enjoyable evening was to serve up traditional jerked pork, chicken, and other delights to add that special blend to a Jamaican party.
