Defending Champions General Accident will oppose Air Jamaica in today's feature game of the Locker Room Sports/Business House Super League netball competition, at the Leila Robinson Courts, starting at 6:30p.m.

In the day's other games at the same time, Jamaica Broilers tackle Jamaica Constabulary Force 'A' and ScotiaBank 'A' entertain National Commercial Bank.

General Accident, the only unbeaten team in the competition, had a close shave last Saturday when holding off ScotiaBank 'A' 47-46 in a thriller.

According to their coach, Oberon Pitterson, they won't be taking their opponents lightly.

"It won't be a stroll in the park for us because we have to go out there and execute our game plan," said Pitterson, who is a former national player and coach.

"We are very confident because of the quality of players compared to the Air Jamaica team," Pitterson added.

General Accident will be depending heavily on national representative Nadine Bryan, former national players Peta-Gaye Thomas and Margaret Lawrence.

Dacia Barnes, player/coach of Air Jamaica, said despite the level of inexperience in her team, she is confident they can put on a good showing.

"We are going to put up a good showing and make sure that we give the champions a really good fight," said Barnes, who is the assistant coach of Jamaica's Under-21 team.

Exposure

"This is the first time that most of our girls are exposed to this level of competition and so it is going to be a big challenge for them, but I think they are prepared for it," added Barnes.

There will also be a number of matches in other divisional leagues.

In the Senior League B matches starting at 5:15 p.m., Digicel oppose National Housing Trust, Jamaica Public Service tackle ScotiaBank 'B' and Wisynco await Jamaica Constabulary Force.

In Intermediate A action, starting 4p.m., Jamaica National Building Society will take aim at Advantage General, National Water Commission await National Housing Trust and Jamaica Infrastructure Operators entertain Appliance Traders Limited.

In Intermediate B League matches, NEM Insurance tackle National Commercial Bank 'B' and Grace Kennedy await Wray and Nephew.

In the Junior League, with matches starting at 3p.m., Aerotel will challenge Jamaica Flour Mills, Pan Caribbean oppose Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica, Transport Authority battle Supreme Venture and Lasco await ISSA.
