No fear of speaking
There was a time, not too long ago, when the prospect of an outstanding Jamaican athlete making an appearance on a major televised talk show abroad would fill us with as much trepidation as delight.

When our heroes return home

Jamaica's pre-Christmas gift in 1946 was the performance of our track-and-field team at the Caribbean and Central American Games held in Barranquilla, Colombia, in 1946.The team returned by ship and landed at Victoria Pier at the foot of King Street. - Hartley Neita
