The workers at Cuddy'z might still be mopping up the place after all the crying from laughter that took place last Thursday.
The sports bar and restaurant was the sight of Toyota Jamaica's Comedy Night. The event was another of the auto company's customer socials, and with all the national pride and good feelings going around, this was perfect. So professional comedians and a few brave amateurs took the microphone to deliver zingers on various topics, ranging from politics, the Olympics, relationships and money woes.
Vocal range
Comedy Buss season two winner Dwight Samuels told them that Toyota was the best, saying that Mitsubishi was making a 'galant' attempt to catch them and that for Nissan, things weren't looking so 'sunny'. Fun and jokes aside (literally), Lemon decided to show off his vocal range by serenading a few of the women in the audience.
Elva, self-titled president of the wig wearers association, was her usual controversial self, and the duo Ity and Fancy Cat rounded off proceedings. MC Jerry Benzwick kept things moving along, throwing in his own wacky stuff.
With the staff at Cuddy'z working overtime, the complimentary drinks and snacks added a tasty side to the comedic main course.
Guests out included: Misha Lobban, Gladstone Neil, Terry and David Shoucair, Bobby Smith, Michael Robinson, Arif and Simone Cooper, Scott Edwards and Claudette Robinson.
