Treasure Beach, Barbary Hall in feature clash
published: Saturday | June 21, 2008

St Elizabeth:

Second-round leaders Treasure Beach United and mid-season champions Barbary Hall will clash in the feature of four games in the St Elizabeth Co-op Credit Union division one football competition, at Great Bay, today.

Second-placed Beacon (9) will host sixth-placed North-ampton at Newell, third-placed Steppaz play away to New Holland and Longwood entertain Haughton at Lyceo at 3:30pm.

Treasure Beach beat New Holland 3-0 on Tuesday to stretch their unbeaten run to four games and maximum 12 points. Steppaz clipped Longwood 1-0, Beacon whipped Haughton 4-1 and Northampton handed Barbary Hall their fourth straight loss, 1-2.

Barbary Hall, who came from behind with nine men to beat Steppaz 3-2 and crown themselves champions last month, are without a point as they have lost all their second-round games.

In the first round, they won 10 matches, drew two and lost two of their 14 games, to top Zone A on 32 points.
