Chang leaves T Geddes Grant - Michael Subratie takes over
published: Friday | May 30, 2008

Anthony Chang ... going into private consultancy. - File

Anthony Chang has stepped down as managing director of T. Geddes Grant (Distributors) Limited, the Desmond Blades-controlled distribution firm, saying that he is going into private consultancy.

Chang, a one-time president of the Jamaica Chamber of Com-merce (JCC) and former CEO of Consolidated Bakeries, is being succeeded by Michael Subratie, a T. Geddes Grant director who is in charge of special projects, sources say.

Chang, who was the company's MD for four years, said the decision to leave T Geddes Grant was his own.

He leaves today.

"I decided to change pace and pursue some other activities," he said. "I'm not leaving because I was forced out or anything like that. I'm going back to consultancy."

T Geddes Grant is a subsidiary of Musson Jamaica Limited, a Desmond Blades-owned company.
