Truly 'fruitrageous'
published: Thursday | May 8, 2008

Nashauna Drummond, Lifestyle Coordinator

An arrangement that's not only pleasing to the eye but also the palate.

For Mother's Day or just to say 'happy birthday', 'I love you' or 'congratulations', there's a unique and delicious way to express it without the calories.

Interior designer Francine Chin of Adams Designs has put her creative touch into 'truly fruitrageous' fruit bouquets. "It's all about decor, arranging and fruit designing. I do a lot of floral arrangements and this goes straight across the board," said Chin about her designs. These one-of-a-kind edible creations are made with a variety of fruits; cantaloupe, honeydew melon, seedless grapes, strawberries, pineapple, watermelon, oranges or mangoes, in a creation that everyone will love. Though not a new concept, it's a first in Jamaica.

Delivered within 24 hours

These arrangements are great for any occasion.

Arrangements are made to order and delivered within 24 hours. "The benefit of this gift is that not only is it pleasing to the eye, but also to the palate," said Chin.

Refrigerated, arrangements can last for three to five days and still retain their freshness. Chin stresses that her arrangements are all natural; no additives or artificial sweeteners used, "just the pure goodness of the fruit", she said.

For the health-conscious individual, this is a perfect solution. Arrangements can also be customised to suit any palate. If strawberries and grapes are your favourite, then your arrangement can be designed with just those fruits. They can also be dipped or drizzled with chocolate, or sugar flowers in a beautiful keepsake container.

Finally, a bouquet that's not only beautiful but also delicious.
