TO COMMEMORATE 'Professionals Secretaries Week' the Kingston chapter of the Jamaica Association of Secretaries and Administrative Professionals (JASAP) yesterday recognised more than 100 secretaries during a luncheon at the Terra Nova hotel, Waterloo Road, St Andrew.
The administrative professionals were honoured for their contributions to the achievements of organisations across the country.
Lucille Jackson, national president of the JASAP, in her message to the group, said professional secretaries have over the years continued to demonstrate the ability to help associations and organisations in delivering exceptional service to the wider public.
"As leading users of office technology, many have become software experts and 'help desk' advisers, thus achieving further savings for companies and organisations," she said.

"When you selflessly do your work with pride, it feels good that you are acknowledged for it," said Berry. She has been working as a professional secretary for more than 10 years.
