Rebuilding the vibe in Israel
ROOTS-REGGAE group Israel Vibration are scheduled to perform in Tel Aviv, Israel, on April 22, at the Barbie Club. It is part of Israeli promoter Guil Bronstein's move to bring Jamaican music back to the Middle East country on a larger scale.

Fast facts

A 2001 census put Soweto as the most populous black urban residential area in South Africa with 896, 995 people. The township was based on segregationalist planning. Over 500 persons were killed by police on June 16, 1976, in what is known as the Soweto Uprising.
