Here are highlights of social events you may have missed last week.


From left: Carol Gonzalez, Pam Hall and Nadine Sutherland are all slated to perform at the upcoming 'Sisters To Sisters Mediathon' on Sunday, April 13. The mediathon, a seven-hour all-female concert, will raise funds for charities that benefit women. - Contributed


Popular entertainer Richie Stephens (centre) shares an inspiring story about his mother, 'Mama Carmen' (left), with Earl Jarrett, general manager, Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS). They were at the launch of Stephen's 'Take Me Away' concert at the Acropolis last Wednesday. Jamaica National is title sponsor of the highly anticipated fourth staging of 'Take Me Away', which will be held at the National Indoor Sports Centre on Saturday, April 27. The show will feature Stephens and his mom, the recently reunited Bloodfire Posse, Shinehead, veteran entertainers Ernie Smith and Pluto Shervington, as well as Christopher Martin, Queen Ifrica, Marvia Providence, and young violinist, Nadjé Leslie. Part proceeds from the show will go to the Mary's Child Centre, and will be distributed through the newly formed Richie Stephens Foundation. - Contributed
